Kimon Kotos vows to bring jobs back

It's time for a real plan for West Michigan  Pete Hoekstra has been silent as the traditional manufacturing base of our great land, and this region in particular, has been out-sourced and shut down, we must do better.  I propose to focus on four key areas to bring new prosperity and a long-term sustainable future to West Michigan.

-- Education and Workforce Training. Global competition demands we improve and upgrade the skills of our students and workers.
--
Agriculture. West Michigan is uniquely situated to produce high-value agricultural products in a sustainable manner.
-- Tourism. Our beaches, lakes and parks.  Yet these great resources depend on our commitment to effective environment
And it is time for real accountability in Washington.  Peter Hoekstra has repeatedly failed to perform his assigned oversight responsibilities, in the Marianas on sweatshop issues, and now with vital intelligence issues.  Hoekstra and the Bush administration have ignored, or sabotaged, the programs that benefit our most vulnerable.  We deserve better

The pattern of reckless spending by George Bush and Peter Hoekstra over the past six years has mortgaged our homeland and our future. It is time to stand up for the American worker, for jobs, healthcare, education, and Social Security, for our environment and for our veterans (see Issues).

We cannot afford the mediocrity or neglect of the past.   It is time for a change.
