Flash:
At about noon on August 3rd, Kimon Kotos cast his vote for a
straight Democratic ticket at the MacMillan Elementary School,
here in Fruitland Township. It was easy voting for himself, since
U.S. House of Representative candidates were the top of the paper
ballot, and voting simply required "filling in the bubble" next to
his name.
Then, a sign-in line allowed him to
nominate and elect himself as 3rd precinct delegate, alongside
those already on the ballot, neighbors and old family friends, Pat
and Paul Ladas.
Far outside the school grounds (and
the campaigning line limits), Kimon shook neighbors' hands and
went on to continue his door-to-door GOTV efforts until the polls
closed this evening.
