Kotos outpolls incumbent 2:1 in Muskegon
county primary
Primary results from Aug. 3 clearly show that District 2 is in play in
2004.
In his home county of Muskegon, Kimon Kotos,
Dennis Kucinich's former national field director, received nearly 4000 votes
more than 6-term GOP loyalist Pete Hoekstra. And overall, the well known
Hoekstra barely topped 60% of the vote total, against a challenger, Kotos,
who has just begun campaigning district-wide.
This puts Kimon on track to help Pete keep
a promise
he made when he first ran for Congress -- that he would not serve more
than 12 years.
This makes sense, not only for Pete, but also for the district and for the
country.
You can help Pete out too.
Get involved.
It's time for a change.
