 This administration's proposal to privatize social security is putting all people at risk, and it's going to cost us dearly in the end. It takes money away from the overall pool of funding.

The same thing is true in the case of proposals for the Medical Retirement Savings Account. These and the plans to privatize social security are a diversion meant to benefit a few and it's going to cost the overall recipients in the end; it's going to lead to cutbacks and reductions in services.
